This newsletter is run by Lindsay Riedel Reuther and Van Hickman. This page explains what this site collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- When you sign up: your first name, your email, and anything you write in the optional message box.
- When you send the form, the form service also records your IP address and the page you sent it from, which it uses to filter out spam.
How we use it
We use it to send you the newsletter and news about our workshops, and to decide what to write about. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- SplitForms receives form submissions and screens out spam.
- Airtable stores the list.
- Netlify hosts this site.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy. When the newsletter launches, the service that sends it will be added here.
Cookies, tracking and Do Not Track
This site doesn't run analytics or advertising cookies, and it doesn't follow you across other sites. Because of that, there's nothing for a browser's Do Not Track setting to turn off, and every visitor is treated the same way.
Seeing, changing or deleting your information
Reply to any email we send you and tell us what you'd like: a copy of what we have, a correction, or deletion. Before the first email goes out, you can send the signup form again with your request in the message box. We'll reply by email. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Children
This site is for adults. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this page
If anything here changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
